About the Role
An Independent school in Brent requires a creative Art Teacher, starting ASAP for a temporary, full-time position. You will deliver inspiring art lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4. We require a dedicated Art Teacher.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Art Teacher lessons, covering various mediums and techniques.
* Prepare students for assessments and exhibitions.
* Develop students' artistic skills and creativity.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to the development of art resources.
* Organise and potentially lead art-related extracurricular activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art.
* Proven experience in teaching art at secondary level.
* Strong artistic skills and knowledge of art history.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and motivate students.
