Position: Field Electrical Engineer

Our client is the UK’s Largest Garage Equipment Workshop Service & Spares Provider and is part of a European group that's active in multiple industries including manufacturing, distribution, and service within the automotive aftermarket.
Job Purpose
Working for the UK’s largest garage equipment service company, you will be an integral part of our business development activities. This role includes responding to workshop garage equipment breakdowns, diagnosing, and resolving equipment issues, ensuring our customers are compliant and productive. This role will also include calibration of certain types of garage equipment where applicable.
Main Responsibilities
1. Carry out calibrations, diagnostics/repairs on a wide range of garage equipment products such as, brake testers, gas analysers, and smoke testers.
2. Completion and submission of accurate certificates as required complying with the Quality System.
3. Adhering to regulations covering Health & Safety within the workplace.
4. Ensuring control of own van stock to meet First Time Fix Targets
Typical Skills & Experience
To have good working knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering activities in a field service environment. Experience in working with emission & brake testing equipment, electrical (down to board level), hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Able to understand and follow procedures and work instructions, working to specified standards. Excellent communication skills. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.
