This is an exciting leadership opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving patient safety and quality across perinatal services. As Clinical Matron for Patient Safety & Quality, you will lead the delivery of key maternity safety programmes, champion a positive safety culture, and support continuous improvement to ensure the highest standards of care. Working at the heart of the Trust’s patient safety agenda, you will provide expert clinical, managerial and educational leadership, overseeing national safety frameworks and ensuring compliance with key standards. You will work collaboratively across teams to strengthen governance, lead learning from incidents, and embed improvements that reduce harm and enhance patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the safety and experience of mothers, babies and families, while influencing strategic priorities at Trust and Board level.
