We're looking for a skilled MIG welder with proven fabrication experience to join our workshop team. This is a hands-on role building premium metal and timber products.
Important: The interview process has two stages:
* Phone call with a member of our team
* Paid practical trial day in our workshop (welding, grinding, assembly)
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
* MIG welding of steel parts into panels, posts and assemblies
* Working from CAD drawings and jigs to ensure accuracy (flat, square and true)
* Preparing structures for galvanising and powder coating – welds must be neat and consistent
* Measuring and marking out carefully before cutting – quality over rushing
* Supporting general fabrication and workshop organisation
* Joining installation teams and representing the company professionally on customer sites
Requirements
* Proven MIG welding experience
* Proven grinding experience
* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
* Experience producing work for galvanising or powder coating
* Strong attention to detail – measuring properly and checking work before cutting or welding
* Presentable and professional – able to interact with clients during site installs
* Positive attitude and enthusiasm – willing to learn, adapt and contribute
* Growth mindset – takes pride in improving skills, finding better ways to work, and growing with the company
