Key responsibilities include: Planning and delivering engaging EYFS learning experiences in line with the EYFS Framework Creating a stimulating, language-rich, and inclusive classroom environment Supporting children's personal, social, emotional, and academic development Observing, assessing, and recording progress accurately using EYFS profiles Leading early phonics, literacy, and numeracy learning Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and EYFS staff to enhance provision The school is looking for someone who can combine structure and high expectations with creativity, warmth, and flexibility. The Ideal Candidate The school would welcome applications from teachers who: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience working within EYFS (independent school experience is desirable but not essential) Have a strong understanding of early childhood development and play-based learning Are confident delivering early phonics and foundational maths Bring a nurturing, patient, and reflective approach to teaching Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team Are committed to high standards and continuous improvement This position would suit an experienced EYFS teacher or a confident Early Career Teacher with strong early years training and placements.
