Locations Leeds, Manchester, Midlands, East Anglia Role Overview As a Senior refrigeration Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that refrigeration systems are Serviced & Maintained correctly which include heavy commercial and Industrial systems (CO2, Freon, and Chilled water applications Ammonia experience advantageous, but not essential) You will be working closely with the Service admin team, Service Supervisors, and other senior service engineers to ensure that the refrigeration systems meet the required specifications and standard for our clients. You will need to make sure clients systems are running to their optimum condition to meet site operating requirements, always ensuring safe systems of work. Skills & Experience Required Relevant qualifications: City & Guilds Refrigerant handling 2079, CO2 (Ammonia would be advantageous but not essential) Proven experience in large commercial, or industrial refrigeration Previous experience in a senior role Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Minimum 5 years relevant experience Thorough understanding of electrical controls Up to date knowledge of COSHH regulations Understanding of the principles of refrigeration and of the comprising components Servicing of systems utilising approved methods and practices Excellent skills in diagnostics to identify & resolve system failures Ability to work unsupervised CSCS approved Work within current Health and Safety guidelines Full driving licence Operation of Mobile Elevated Working Platform Good communication skills Ability to plan work and meet deadlines IT skills Why Us A competitive Salary - £48,000 - £58,000 (negotiable dependant on skills and experience based on 40hrs per week) Travel Paid (door to door) Full time, permanent contract Overtime Standby fee (£225.00 per week) 33 days holiday (inclusive of annual, bank/public days) Access to a contributory company pension scheme Private Health (Following a successful probationary period) Health Support Scheme (Following a successful probationary period) Death in Service Benefit (Following a successful probationary period) An exciting & rewarding role within company that supports future opportunities and training
