Main Duties
* Assist the Night High-level Cleaning Manager and Head of QSHE to ensure safe and efficient operations.
* Provide expert QHSE and Compliance support for the Heathrow contract.
* Maintain the integrated management system, ensuring compliance with business and third-party accreditations.
* Stay updated on relevant legislation and codes of practice.
* Advise operational managers and staff on QHSE systems and documentation.
* Manage QHSE Sharepoints and ensure documentation reflects the Mitie Way.
* Maintain business registers (Equipment, Ladders, COSHH, RAMS) and collate feedback.
* Conduct assessments such as Significant Risk, COSHH, DSE, outside the competence of operational managers.
* Deliver health and safety training as needed.
* Support insurance claims management by monitoring trends and providing management information.
* Assist in investigating incidents, near misses, and hazards.
* Share lessons learned from incidents and claims.
* Participate in performance appraisals and personal development plans.
* Attend relevant training to meet business needs.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience managing a high-level Soft Services support team, including absence management and staff development.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with flexibility.
* Analytical skills with the ability to interpret management information.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI.
* Knowledge of the Facilities Management sector.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Diplomatic, personable, and effective communicator at all levels.
* Ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Claims management or insurance industry experience is preferred.
* Full UK driving license.
* Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships.
