Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the daily operations of our retail outlet. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff, optimise sales performance, and ensure excellent customer service. Duties
* Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning throughout the day.
* Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
* Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a high-performing team.
* Support sales management initiatives by analysing sales data and implementing strategies to maximise revenue.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with brand guidelines to attract customers and enhance shopping experience.
* Handle customer queries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
* Monitor stock levels, organise inventory, and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
* Assist in administrative duties such as reporting, record keeping, and organising promotional activities.
* Foster a positive team environment through effective organisational skills and leadership.
Qualifications
* Proven management or supervisory experience within retail management or similar environment.
* Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professional etiquette.
* Organised with excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently.
* Experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions within retail settings.
* Demonstrated ability to lead by example, motivate staff, and handle challenging situations diplomatically.
