Job Details
Magest is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 2-year contract. The role involves overseeing installation projects, managing sub-trades, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, health and safety, reporting, and client communication.
This is a hybrid role requiring travel to sites. Our office is located in Stratford, ON.
Key Responsibilities
* Build strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction
* Update project budgets and manage change orders
* Review drawings and specifications for special conditions
* Create construction schedules and coordinate with the Site Manager
* Manage subcontractors and ensure project profitability
* Ensure construction meets time and budget goals
* Input data into project management software
* Manage project documentation and permits
* Mitigate health & safety, financial, and legal risks
* Support project accounting activities
* Participate in site meetings with stakeholders
Qualifications
* 5+ years of project management experience in commercial/residential construction
* Construction Management/CAD Technician diploma or equivalent experience
* Experience managing deadlines and budgets
* Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong relationship-building skills
* Risk recognition and mitigation skills
* Knowledge of legislative requirements
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, AutoCAD
Other Requirements
* Valid G driver's license and access to a vehicle
* Willingness to travel
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 per year
