School Business Manager
Contract: Permanent Part time
Salary Grade: Pro rata to salary scale S9 £41,585 to £45,135 depending on experience
Hours: 35 hours per week, term time only, spread over four/five days during term time, with two extra weeks as agreed.
Start Date: February 23rd 2026 (following Spring Term Half-term)
We are looking for a committed and creative high calibre School Business Manager to work alongside our Senior Leadership Team. You will strategically plan and manage the school’s delegated budget, oversee Finance, Personnel, Health & Safety, Buildings and Facilities and other administrative systems.
In December 2023, Ofsted once again confirmed our wonderful school as outstanding. In September 2024, we had a Catholic Schools Inspection which concluded that St Joseph's was an outstanding school in all areas, namely Catholic Life and Mission, Religious Education and Prayer and Worship.
There is a tangible sense of community in our school and our team is strong: it is a joy to work at the school.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in business management and be adaptable and committed to working alongside the Head teacher, governors and the wider school community for the purpose of continuing to provide high level education to the children and in support of the wider community.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly competent professional with strong finance/accounting skills. This person will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and will demonstrate the ability to operate strategically and efficiently.
