Structure Reporting to theHead of Content, you will also build strong relationships with: – TheTechnical Team The Paid Team The Content and Social Media Team The SeniorManagement Team The Administration and Finance Team Role responsibilitiesinclude: – Create and implement excellent content strategies for ourclients and prospects Effectively communicate and present content strategyto our clients and prospects Be involved in regular client strategy reviewmeetings and provide feedback to the Content team and Heads of DepartmentsCarry out content audits, competitor research, identifying opportunitiesfor clients to excel Carry out content gap and keyword gap analysisProofread and edit content accurately, offering constructive feedback topeers and to clients Create target audience personas to help inform andguide content strategy and to support broader campaign and clientactivities Monitor and analyse client campaign progress and feed back tothe Head of Content along with recommendations Assist with the preparationof monthly and ad-hoc client reports, ensuring that they are timely andaccurate Maintain and develop excellent professional relationships with ourclients to aid in achieving their objectives and client retention Carry outinternal content training for the Zelst team as required to ensure that theContent team and other colleagues have the necessary skills and knowledgeto carry out their roles to the highest standards Be involved in theon-boarding of new clients Assist with the preparation of clientpresentations and pitches and participate as necessary Assist with carryingout competitor analysis and identify areas of interest or concern forZelst, including offering solutions and new ideas to keep us fresh andcompetitive in the Search Marketing Sector Proactively contribute to thewider team with ideation and innovative strategies Work closely acrossteams and with key stakeholders to ensure content strategies align with ourclient’s wider marketing campaigns Be responsive to constructive feedbackEnsure accurate completion of time sheets Adapt to and utilise differentsoftware systems used to carry out daily work and activities Any other dutythat may be required in line with the business needs Assist the Head ofContent to manage, mentor and motivate the Content team Key skills,experience and attributes Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a contentrole Excellent copywriting skills Excellent proofreading and editing skillsExcellent knowledge of best practices of search content marketing anddemonstrable experience implementing this Experience in building positiveclient relationships Ability to deliver a high level of customer serviceHigh level of knowledge of SEO best practices Strong understanding of UXdesign principles and how this affects content strategy developmentExperience in training and coaching team members with the ability toprovide productive, meaningful feedback Strong written and verbalcommunication skills with team members, clients, prospects and otherstakeholders Highly organised and the ability to multi-task and prioritiseGood level of Microsoft and Google Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Outlook, Docs and Sheets) Excellent level of attention to detail Beforward-thinking Be solution-oriented and adaptable Be proactive with acan-do approach to work Have the curiosity and creativity to explore newapproaches to challenges Positive mindset and upbeat attitude, bringingvalue to both our clients and the Zelst Team Competent knowledge andfamiliarity with main social media channels and platforms, includingLinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, TikTok and YouTube Analyticalskills which will help to provide actionable insights and recommendationsto improve ROI for clients Commercial understanding and mindset Place ofwork: The role of Content Strategist is an office-based role, with thepossibility of also working from home. Salary: £35k to £40k per annum,depending on experience and skill set.
