Do you have experience managing EHCP processes, coordinating assessments, writing reports, and supporting SEND provision within schools?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside schools across the Solihull Borough to recruit experienced SEN professionals for specialist SEND administration and coordination roles. These positions are ideal for individuals with extensive SEN knowledge who are looking to move into a more administrative, strategic, or support-based role outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate will work closely with the school SENDCo and wider pastoral team, supporting with the coordination and administration of SEND processes across the school.
Main responsibilities include:
* Supporting the SENDCo with EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and referral processes
* Completing assessment paperwork, reports, and written documentation
* Taking and organising meeting notes for SEND meetings, parent consultations, and multi-agency discussions
* Maintaining accurate SEN records and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
* Liaising with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents where required
* Assisting with the coordination of interventions and pupil support documentation
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the SEND department
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a SENDCo, assistant SENDCo, SEN teacher, or within a SEN support role
* Strong knowledge of SEND processes, EHCPs, and statutory requirements
* Excellent written and organisational skills
* Experience completing assessments, reports, and professional documentation
* Confidence working collaboratively with education professionals and external agencies
* A professional, organised, and detail-oriented approach
* The ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
