Role Overview: The Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer will maintain, install, and refurbish fabric and equipment across the GBS UK estates portfolio. The role involves monitoring building conditions, undertaking repairs and renovations, and assisting Estates and Facilities in planning refurbishment projects. Travel to other campuses may be required and flexible working is expected. The position is a 40‑hour week with campus operating hours Monday to Sunday, 7:00 am–9:30 pm, including occasional out‑of‑hours work.

Experience And Skills Required
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* City & Guilds Level 2 and/or Level 3 in Electrical Installations, or equivalent NVQ, or demonstrable experience to the same standard.
* Previous experience in building maintenance including M&E systems.
* Manual skills and knowledge of refurbishment techniques.
* Flexible and proactive approach with a “can do” attitude.
* Familiarity with COSHH requirements for equipment and chemicals used.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of the facilities wider team.
* Full, Clean Driving Licence
