1. Responsibilities of the Night Nurse:
2. - Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care plans for residents, in line with best practices and company policies.
3. - Administer medication safely and accurately, maintaining detailed records.
4. - Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions, escalating concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
5. - Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families.
6. - Supervise and mentor care assistants, promoting a team-oriented environment.
7. - Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards, maintaining high levels of clinical governance.
8. Requirements:
9. - Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.
10. - Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a care home environment.
11. - Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of elderly care, including dementia care.
12. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
13. - A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field.
