The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Timber Products will involve:
* Internal Sales Executive position selling a range of timber products such as hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, insulation, hardware and tools
* Selling to contractors, housebuilders, developers, timber merchants, builders merchants, joinery manufacturers and trade
* Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
* Processing orders and making cold calls with a focus on generating new business
* Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
* Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
* Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships
* Supporting with general requirements for the branch and wide sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive – Timber Products with:
* Must have sales experience within the construction industry
* Ideally will have experience dealing with timber, joinery, furniture or aligned product ranges
* Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Pro-active approach to generating new business
* Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
* Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
