Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home & School Settings) Location: Birmingham Area Hours: School Hours (Flexible) Pay: Competitive (dependent on experience) About the Role We are looking for dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in both home and school settings across the Birmingham area. This role involves delivering tailored, engaging lessons to students who may require additional support outside of mainstream classroom environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, personalised lessons to pupils on a 1:1 basis Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs Support pupils with varying abilities, including those with SEND or additional needs Track progress and provide feedback on student development Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and other professionals Requirements Experience in tutoring or teaching (qualified teachers preferred but not essential) Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum Ability to engage and motivate students Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Reliable, professional, and committed Desirable Experience working with SEN/SEND pupils Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) Experience in alternative provision or outreach tutoring What We Offer Flexible working hours during school times Supportive team environment Opportunity to make a real difference in students’ lives Ongoing opportunities across the Birmingham area How to Apply Please send your CV and a brief cover note outlining your experience and suitability for the role.
