ALF are proud to be working with a growing company out the outskirts of Bolton, who are looking for a motivated and detailed-oriented Finance / Accounts Assistant to join a busy finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting skills while gaining exposure to a major ERP implementation. You’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function during an exciting period of change, where no 2 days at the same.
Fully office based role, 37.5 hours a week with some flexibility on hours worked.

Role:
Working closely with Finance Managers and alongside a team of 5 Finance Assistants, you will support the finance department with the accurate and timely processing of Financial Data.
* Process high volume of Supplier Invoices with accuracy and correct coding
* Match Invoices to Purchase Orders and GRNs
* Assist with Processing GRNs through Internal Systems
* Investigate and resolve discrepancies
* Support Credit Control Activities when required
* Support Month-End Processes
* Other Finance Duties where required
Profile:
* Experience within a transactional role ideally Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant
* AAT Desirable but not essential
* Must be confident and versatile to help across different finance tasks daily
* IT literate is a must – Excel, ERP Systems and COINS would be beneficial
* High attention to detail and accuracy
