They're now on the lookout for a Business Development Manager to join their expanding commercial team. Youll cover a territory north of the M25, managing a mix of existing accounts and developing new ones. If you know your way around construction, civil engineering, utilities, or facilities management, even better.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring continued satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across your territory.
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients at all levels, using a consultative sales approach.
Promote the companys full product and service offering confidently and accurately.
Maintain a robust and up-to-date sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, logistics) to ensure successful delivery.
Represent the business at relevant trade events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.
Keep informed on market trends, competitor activity, and client developments to adjust strategies accordingly.
Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in a B2B, field-based sales role.
Experience in construction, plant hire, modular buildings, welfare solutions, or site services is highly desirable.
Demonstrable success in winning new business and managing key accounts.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Proactive, target-driven, and highly organised.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Based within territory and flexible to travel as required.
