What will I be doing?
As their Automation Technician, your role will be focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and developing advanced automation technologies introduced to a modern filling and packaging environment.
You will enjoy a broad role that allows you to contribute across multiple aspects of equipment automation and plant optimisation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Diagnosing and resolving issues in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
* Installing, commissioning, and supporting new automation equipment and technologies.
* Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining equipment data through CMMS systems.
* Upholding all safety regulations and contributing to a culture of operational excellence.
* Leading improvement initiatives and supporting the future automation strategy.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
* An HNC/HND in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Automation Engineering.
* Practical experience working with manufacturing or industrial automation equipment.
* Solid understanding of automation and safety systems, including PLCs (Siemens S7 preferred).
* Familiarity with CMMS and SAP systems.
* Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach.
