GSL Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join schools located in Worksop’s S81 area, offering opportunities to provide classroom support and keep learners motivated. As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will work alongside teaching staff to provide targeted support, encourage positive behaviour, and help create a welcoming learning environment for all students. Prime Responsibilities: Support pupils on a one-to-one or small-group basis as directed. Assist the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom organisation. Encourage positive behaviour and help pupils remain focused on tasks. Provide reassurance and guidance to support learning and wellbeing. Follow school policies, routines, and safeguarding procedures at all times. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people. A supportive, calm, and adaptable approach when working as a Teaching Assistant. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
