Salary: Minimum £43,000 per annum
Job Summary: We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Mentor Manager to join our team in Stevenage, supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a Mentor Manager, you’ll lead a team of mentors, providing guidance and support to ensure high‑quality mentoring relationships and outcomes for our young people.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a team of mentors, providing regular supervision and support
* Develop and implement mentoring plans tailored to individual young people’s needs
* Build relationships with schools, parents, and external agencies to ensure effective collaboration
* Oversee safeguarding procedures, ensuring all mentors are up‑to‑date with training and best practices
* Contribute to the development of our SEND provision and strategic plans
Essential Criteria
* 2+ years’ experience working with SEND young people
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of UK Safeguarding policies and procedures
* Experience of managing staff or volunteers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly and creatively
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, Diploma, or Degree in a related field)
