Role: Building Services Engineering Lecturer

Type: Temporary - Full Time
Rate: £40 - £50 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking enthusiastic Building Services Engineering Lecturer for a Further Education College in West Yorkshire.
This is a full time temporary role for ongoing cover, however they will also consider part time applicants
The Role
This role combines teaching with course and learner support responsibilities. You will deliver engaging, industry-relevant learning and contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum provision, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
Depending on your background and experience, you may teach subjects including:
- Principles of Electrical Design and Installation
- Science Principles for Building Services Engineering
- Sustainable Construction
- Your specific areas of expertise will be explored further at interview, where the college will work with you to ensure your skills are best aligned to the curriculum and team.
About You
- We are keen to hear from professionals with recent industry experience in Building Services Engineering or the wider construction sector who are interested in developing or continuing a career in education.
You will ideally have:
- Relevant industry experience within Building Services Engineering or Construction
- A minimum Level 4 qualification (HNC or above) in a related discipline
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both adults and young people
- Good organisational and IT skills, and an awareness of health and safety practices
- Experience of teaching at National or Higher National level is desirable, but not essential.
