About the Role:
As an English/Drama Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English Language, English Literature, and Drama to students across Key Stage 3 and 4. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a passion for literature and drama, and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in our students. You will play a key role in ensuring high standards of teaching and learning, promoting a positive and respectful classroom culture, and helping students achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English Language, English Literature, and Drama.
Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support development.
Maintain a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities, including drama productions and English-related events.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and support whole-school initiatives.
Contribute to the wider school community through mentoring, pastoral care, and involvement in school events.

A qualified teacher with a strong background in English and Drama.
Passionate about inspiring students and cultivating a love of literature and performance.
Proven ability to differentiate teaching to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
A team player who is proactive, adaptable, and collaborative.
Experience in delivering GCSE English and Drama is desirable, but not essential.
