About the Role We re seeking an experienced and dynamic assistant engineer inspections for our highway structure s function. You will be involved in inspecting and managing the Councils Highway Structures stock. Working with supply chain partners you will be identifying, instructing and supervising reactive maintenance works on highway structures. Key Responsibilities Undertake and complete general and principal inspections of highway structures assets. Instruct and supervise reactive maintenance works. Manage customer enquiries and associated interactions. Assist with defending public liability insurance claims and processing third party damage claims. About You Ideally you will have experience of working in the highway industry together with strong interpersonal and organisational skills Enjoy working outdoors and liaising with third parties and contractor crews to deliver a high-class service.
