Year 1 Teacher – Full Time
Location: Preston (PR1)Start Date: September 2026Pay: £120–£150 per day
The Opportunity
A friendly primary school in Preston is looking for a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic full-time role for someone who loves working with KS1 learners and is passionate about building strong foundations in reading, writing, and maths.
Your Role Will Include:
* Teaching a Year 1 class full-time
* Planning creative and engaging lessons
* Supporting pupils through the transition from EYFS to KS1
* Working closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality curriculum
* Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working in EYFS/KS1 (essential)
* A strong grasp of the Year 1 curriculum
* QTS required – ECTs and experienced teachers encouraged to apply
* A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching
* Ability to create a positive, structured learning environment
