Job Title: Secondary Cover Supervisor
Location: Taunton
Salary: £110-£130 per day (depending on experience)

We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a vibrant secondary school in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals considering a career in teaching or those with experience working with young people.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with their learning and follow the set lesson plans. You\'ll play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
Responsibilities
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Provide support and guidance to students during lessons
* Liaise with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Experience working with young people (e.g., in schools, youth work, tutoring)
* A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential
* A genuine interest in education and student development
