Full-time | Permanent
£33,000 – £38,000

We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation in the surveying and utilities sector, seeking a Utility Surveyor. This role offers the chance to work on some of the UK’s largest and most high-profile infrastructure and construction projects, with strong opportunities for training, development, and career progression.

As a Utility Surveyor, you will:

1. Carry out surveys using Total Stations, GPS, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and Electromagnetic Detection equipment.
2. Accurately record underground utility data and manhole inspections.
3. Produce detailed reports in line with PAS128 standards and internal guidelines.
4. Work closely with Project Managers and CAD teams to ensure accurate deliverables.
5. Support both field-based and office-based survey tasks.
6. Maintain and manage survey equipment to a high standard.
7. Support and mentor junior team members as required.
8. Represent the company professionally while building positive client relationships on-site

To be considered for this Utility Surveyor you will have:

15. Experience in PAS128 utility surveying or similar.
16. CCTV/Drainage operatives with an interest in training into surveying will also be considered.
17. Experience using GPR, Electromagnetic Location (EML), GPS/GNSS systems.
18. Knowledge of industry standards (PAS128, TSA guidance).
19. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
20. Flexible and adaptable-able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment.
21. Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
22. Live in or near to Leeds and be willing to travel.
