Job Title: Therapy Team Manager Location: Hitchin, Hertfordshire
5 hours per week (Part-Time)
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Therapy Team Manager to lead a specialist therapy and recreational therapy team within a respected neurological care centre. The service supports adults aged 18+ living with a wide range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.
This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive the development, quality, and delivery of therapy services within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation setting.
Lead and manage the therapy and recreational therapy team across the full care pathway—from referral to discharge.
Champion clinical governance, implementing best practices in clinical risk management.
Provide day-to-day leadership, staff support, and supervision.
Deliver and evaluate therapy interventions, maintaining responsibility for your own caseload within a defined clinical area.
Monitor team compliance with mandatory training and encourage professional development.
Contribute to quality improvement via audits, user feedback, peer reviews, and outcome measures.
BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy
Proven post-registration training and leadership experience in a health or social care setting
Experience working with clients with complex neurological conditions and disabilities
Skilled in managing clinical teams, including performance management and recruitment
