North Lincolnshire Council are looking for a well-organised and motivated Assistant Business Services Officer to join our Business Services Team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working with data, systems, and supporting construction-related projects. In this role, you’ll support with procurement exercises, help monitor budgets, manage project information, and support the smooth running of our capital and revenue building programmes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the council and external partners to make sure everything runs efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities Maintain office systems to support the delivery and monitoring of capital and revenue programmes. Oversee the staff time recording system, including help desk support, reporting, and resource planning. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to commission design teams for building projects. Support the development and implementation of systems for performance monitoring of consultants and contractors. Assist in the management and monitoring of the Construction and Professional Services Frameworks. What We’re Looking For Experience in procurement, financial monitoring, or project support within a construction or public sector environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in using business management and financial systems. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
