SEMH 1:1 Teaching Assistant post in Lancaster, Lancashire LA3

Teaching personnel are working with a Primary school in Lancaster LA3 who are looking at appointing a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, immediate start. This role will be full-time until the end of the academic year. There may be an opportunity to work on a school-based contract for the right person.
Due to the nature of this role, it is essential to have prior experience with supporting people who have SEMH. The role requires a supporting, patient and compassionate person who will support a child on a 1:1 basis in a Year 6 class to ensure progression both academically and socially.
The successful applicant will have continuous support from the class teacher, SENDCO and senior leadership. The role is predominantly classroom support based; however, the child has tailored support interventions ; which planning will be provided by the school.
