Supporting and supervising a team of Security/Cleaners to ensure the security and safety of customers, buildings, and personnel.
To support the operation of security and cleaning, ensuring exceptional service is provided.
To ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner adhering to all relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
* Operationally support in delivery of the agreed service levels.
* Manage the team including distribution of daily rotas, daily briefings/roll call, administration, and holiday management.
* Monitor and control the team's daily duties and actions to ensure compliance and maintain high standards.
* Assist in leading the team by fostering team spirit and cooperation, encouraging open expression of ideas and opinions, and ensuring resolution.
* Assist and support induction and training needs to ensure they are identified and appropriate training & development is delivered.
* Support in delivery of SOPs and maintenance of documentation across the security team.
* Assist with auditing site practices and processes.
* Assist in maintaining compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
* Promote a secure and safe working environment through the implementation and continuous improvement of Health and Safety actions.
* Assist and be a point of contact for Incident Management, ensuring proper management and escalation of incidents as per client specifications.
* Complete incident reports focusing on quality and timely reporting.
* Ensure complaints are dealt with professionally and promptly.
* Establish and maintain satisfactory relationships within the company and with the client organization.
* Manage provision of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
* Ensure all security equipment is operational and issues are reported.
* Maintain a robust key control process.
* Client liaison, working closely with the Centre Management Team and Security Supervisor.
* Other responsibilities as needed based on circumstances and business needs.
