This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fabrication professional looking to join a well-established and growing business.Immediate start available (subject to interview process)Salary is £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesDrawing & Technical CapabilityConfidently read and interpret engineering drawingsCreate fabrication drawingsWork from client specifications and produce shop-ready drawingsUnderstand tolerances, weld symbols, and surface finishesSoftware SkillsCompetent in relevant engineering and drawing software packagesHands-on Fabrication KnowledgeWelding processesCutting, drilling and forming techniquesAssembly methodsJigging and sequencing of workBS EN 1090 & Compliance KnowledgeMaterial traceability requirementsInspection and Test Plans (ITPs)The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To:Clearly explain drawings and technical information to workshop staffIdentify potential issues early and communicate practical solutionsWork independently with minimal supervisionManage workload effectively and maintain high standards of qualityIdeal BackgroundTime-served Fabricator/Welder who has progressed into an engineering roleStrong understanding of fabrication and workshop processesExperience producing fabrication drawings and supporting production teamsDutton Recruitment are working as an Employment Business on behalf of our client.TPBN1_UKTJ
