Job overview

We are looking for a very special person to join the Leadership Team at West Hill as our school has grown over time. Our visionary and values led primary school for children with special needs is seeking an exceptional leader to continue to drive forward our vision for all of our children to "…achieve as much as they possibly can and flourish in adult life…"

If you are:

* Excited by change and the opportunity to shape provision
* Dynamic, flexible and a collaborative values-led leader
* An outstanding teacher with at least 5 years' experience in primary or special schools
* And are looking for a next step in your career or a new challenge…

Then a career with THPT, based at West Hill could be just for you.

Our children aged 4-11 all have an Education Health Care Plan identifying the need for specialist support and provision. Their initial learning profile is that of moderate learning difficulties (MLD), co-occurring with a range of diagnoses and medical and physical needs. Typically working within the Early Years and early Key Stage 1 level, our pupils are hugely determined, inspiring and ready for learning. We are well supported by families, our wider Trust partners and our Local Governing Body.

West Hill is a vibrant and thriving learning environment with an incredible site internally and externally. The learning and development culture helps children and staff to achieve their highest ambitions. Please see attached application pack for further details and details of how to arrange a tour of the school.

Closing date for applications: 9am, Tuesday 16 September 2025, candidates being called for interview will be notified by the end of day on Tuesday 23 September 2025.

Day 1 Selection Process: Monday 29 September 2025
