About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Catering Assistant to join our vibrant Land of Oak & Iron Team. Collaborating with a supportive brigade, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our catering services. Your responsibilities will include front-of-house duties, serving customers, crafting hot beverages, operating the till, and ensuring exceptional customer care. Maintaining consistently high standards of service, hygiene, and health & safety will also be a key focus.
This role demands a positive and adaptable mindset, coupled with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced customer-centric environment. It’s essential to be available for weekend shifts and occasional evening work.

The casual hours contract operate on a 0 hours contract basis with no regular fixed hours.
About you
We are seeking someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic, preferably with experience of customer service in a fast paced catering environment. You will be an excellent communicator who is open, honest and acts with integrity. You will be flexible and willing to tackle any task or role assigned to you with a positive attitude.
