Sewing Machinist
£12.21ph, NN17 1QE, 4 DAY WORKING WEEK Mon-Thurs 7am till 5pm, Immediate Start, Temp to Perm
Due to continued success and expansion plans, a head office location of a global renowned clothing brand has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sewing Machinist to join them. You will be providing support to the Production Manager, and be a key member of the Production Team:
Responsibilities
* Interpreting garment pattern
* Operating both Overlocker and Flatbed sewing machines
* Ensuring quality standards are met on all products
* Working to daily production targets as a team
* Day to day general maintenance on machines, raising awareness of any machinery or material issue
Qualifications / Experience
We would expect the successful Sewing Machinist to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Overlocker and Flatbed machines, have an excellent eye for detail, and be able to work well to targets. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked within a Machinist, Seamstress or Tailor position.
