Driver Hire Inverness is recruiting multiple Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to join a busy refuse collection team in Portree. This is an ongoing role with immediate starts available.
As a Refuse Driver, you’ll lead a team of loaders, ensure health and safety standards are met, and assist with bin loading when required. You’ll also be responsible for daily vehicle checks and safe operation of the refuse lorry.

🗑️ Key Responsibilities:
5. Leading a refuse collection crew
6. Carrying out daily refuse and recycling collections
7. Operating vehicle machinery safely and efficiently
8. Manual handling of bins and waste
9. Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
10. Maintaining vehicle cleanliness
11. Using in-cab technology or mobile devices for route and task updates
12. Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
📋 Requirements:
13. Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
14. CPC Card and Digital Tacho Card
15. Newly qualified drivers welcome
