Collaboration with other business areas, such as sales, will also be part of the role. Your communication and presentation skills will be critical as you conduct training inductions and facilitate continuous learning initiatives. You will work closely with various teams, including Quality, EHS, and Product Management, to identify ongoing training and development needs.### **Key Skills*** Expert knowledge of alarm and Smart systems (Intruder and Alarm.com), security standards (PD6662), and JCI Values.* A keen ability to recognize and assess training and development needs.* Strong communication, presentation, and training delivery skills.* A genuine passion for continuous learning and knowledge refreshment.* Ability to create effective lesson plans and training materials.* Exceptional organization and planning skills.* A proactive, enthusiastic, and innovative approach to work.* Approachable for advice and support, comfortable in one-on-one and group mentoring situations.### Responsibilities* Lead new starter inductions and continuous improvement training.* Prepare comprehensive lesson plans.* Assemble and program alarm systems for training purposes.* Create and prepare engaging training materials, including technical handouts and help sheets.* Conduct advanced technical training sessions for our SMART HOME systems.* Provide individualized and group refresher training across all system types.* Facilitate training in other business areas as needed.* Conduct interviews and technical assessments for grading structures.* Participate in a ‘Day in the Life’ of installation and service at least once per quarter.At Johnson Controls, we believe in creating a workplace where your ideas and contributions matter.
