An exciting opportunity has arisen at our school. The Governing Body are looking to appoint a reliable and confident Clerk to Governors.
Cradle Hill Community Primary school is a happy, thriving, highly inclusive and caring community school with high aspirations and expectations for our children. We ae a popular three form entry school in Seaford. A true community school, we work as a team and have supportive governors, staff and parents.
You will need excellent administrative practices and experience of minute taking. Have experience in the role and be confident working with SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Excel and email and have access to a computer and the internet.
Your responsibilities will include working effectively with the Chair of Governors, Headteacher and other Governors. You will need knowledge of procedural and legislative matters to ensure the governing board works to the legal framework. An understanding of confidentiality is essential for this role. You will also receive ongoing training opportunities to support you and help you develop in the role.

The position is for 192.4 hours per year with a flexible working pattern.
