About the Role
A global leader in digital transformation is expanding its Digital Trust practice and is seeking Senior Cybersecurity Consultants to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with high-profile clients on projects that shape the future of cybersecurity, risk management, and secure technology adoption.
You’ll play a key role in advising clients, delivering transformation programmes, and driving innovation in areas such as:
* Security strategy and risk management
* Data and identity security
* Human risk and security culture
* Security operations modernisation
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver cybersecurity transformation projects, reducing business and technology risks.
* Design and implement security strategies, frameworks, and architectures tailored to client needs.
* Provide expert advice in one or more key domains: security assurance, security architecture, or GenAI security adoption.
* Influence senior stakeholders and support cultural and operational change within client organisations.
* Contribute to business growth through proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
What You’ll Need
* Proven experience in one or more key cybersecurity domains, such as Security & Risk Management, Security Architecture, Asset Security, Security Engineering, Communications & Network Security, Identity & Access Management, Security Awareness & Education, Security Assessment & Testing, Security Operations, or Software Development Security.
* Practical experience in areas like SOC operations, OT security, security architecture, security operating model transformations, and cybersecurity assessments.
* Strong familiarity with core frameworks and regulations, including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Critical Controls, NIS2, DORA, FCA, and Bank of England requirements.
* Awareness of the evolving role of Generative AI and its impact on cybersecurity strategy and operations.
* Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (preferred).
* Currently working in an established Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background
* Ability to thrive in a matrixed organisation, building collaboration and support to drive both sales and delivery of consulting solutions.
* Experience in developing and delivering client propositions.
* Cross-sector expertise, ideally including industries such as Financial Services, Public Sector, Energy, Utilities & Chemicals, Consumer Products, Retail & Distribution, Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences, or Telecoms, Media & Technology.
* Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience leading and managing cybersecurity project delivery.
* Existing SC clearance (or eligibility to obtain it).
