Alness Pharmacy is looking for a Qualified Pharmacy Technician (ideally an Accuracy Checking Technician) – or a Pre‑Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician – to join our friendly and supportive team in a permanent role.
About the Role

Responsibilities
* Preparation and (where qualified) accuracy checking of prescriptions
* Stock management and controlled drug governance
* Supporting and leading the dispensary team
* Delivering services such as vaccinations, PGD‑based treatments, and ear microsuction
* Permanent, rewarding role with excellent development opportunities
* Supportive environment with multiple pharmacists, experienced Level 4 Technicians, an RPS Advanced Superintendent Pharmacist, and a Pharmacist Chief Company Director
* Opportunities to progress into advanced, clinical, and service delivery roles
* GPhC registration fees and indemnity insurance paid by the company
* If not yet qualified, a developmental post is available through West College Scotland’s Modern Apprenticeship Programme
Compensation
Qualified: £30,160 – £33,280 per annum (based on 40 hours/week)
Trainee rate: £29,120 per annum (Modern Apprenticeship training post)
