This is a hybrid position but will need to candidate to be close to London as we are expecting you to be regularly present with the client.
Future Duties and Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the end-to-end transition of IT outsourcing services, ensuring a structured, controlled, and high-quality move from initiation through to operational handover. You will take ownership of transition outcomes, aligning delivery with agreed scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring minimal disruption to critical services. Working closely with senior stakeholders across CGI and third‑party suppliers, you will foster strong collaboration, enabling effective governance and decision‑making throughout the transition lifecycle.
You will play a key role in shaping transition strategy and execution, proactively managing risks, dependencies, and change to safeguard delivery. You will be supported by a collaborative network of experts while having the autonomy to innovate and continuously improve transition approaches in a complex, mission‑driven environment.
* Lead & deliver end‑to‑end ITO transition programmes
* Manage & control transition plans, RAID, budgets, and governance
* Coordinate & align multi‑vendor and stakeholder engagement
* Drive & assure service readiness and operational handover
* Mitigate & resolve risks, issues, and dependencies
* Report & communicate progress to senior stakeholders
Required Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong experience leading complex IT outsourcing transitions, with the ability to operate confidently in stakeholder‑rich, governance‑driven environments. You will combine structured delivery expertise with strong communication skills, enabling you to influence senior stakeholders and ensure successful outcomes within mission‑led organisations.
* You should have extensive experience delivering full ITO transitions
* Strong knowledge of 1st-generation outsourcing transitions is highly desirable
Preferred Experience in Non‑profit, Life Sciences, or Research Environments
* Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders in complex organisations
* Strong proficiency in transition governance, RAID management, and reporting
* Relevant certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent
