Skills and Competencies
* Strong understanding of France payroll legislation, including tax regulations, social security contributions (URSSAF), DSN reporting, and income tax withholding.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and validate payroll data, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies.
* Fluency in French (preferred) and English.
* Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data validation for payroll reporting.
* Experience in processing payrolls for other EMEA countries; supporting regional or global payroll teams is preferred.
Education
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Responsibilities
As part of the Global Payroll Team, you will contribute to the development of the global Finance strategy, supporting business growth in a regulated environment while ensuring payroll and tax compliance across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage payroll efficiently, ensuring vendor accountability for statutory obligations and understanding Moody’s policies and culture.
* Check all payroll reports and payments generated by the vendor or internally.
* Provide instructions to vendors and ensure contractual performance.
* Partner with peers to maintain and review data and records regularly.
* Execute payroll and statutory benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
* Maintain confidentiality of all information according to guidelines.
* Support and guide local and corporate payroll programs as needed.
* Some out-of-hours work or travel may be required.
