Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Duties
* Perform cleaning tasks in local primary school, to include, classrooms and communal areas
* Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards.
* Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately while ensuring the area remains clutter-free.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when restocking is necessary.
* Drive to location as required for cleaning assignments, ensuring timely arrival at the site.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services provided.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
* Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to address client needs professionally.
* A valid driver's licence and access to your own vehicle is essential to the role
* Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and responsibility.
