A Little More About Your Role…
* Based from WSP’s Liverpool and Northwich offices, working within a team of Buried Services Surveyors across the UK, alongside Topographical Surveying, UAV, and MBS teams.
* Assisting senior surveyors in fieldwork for below ground utility and drainage surveys.
* Processing survey data, ensuring standards are met.
Your Team
* Surveying Services (UK)
* Working with a UK-wide team of Surveyors, including Topographical, Measured Building & Buried Services Surveyors, and UAV Pilots.
* Serving a diverse client base, from Local Authorities to Multi-Discipline Consultants.
* Reporting to the survey team lead.
* Located in city-based offices with good transport links, shops, cafes, parking, and nearby train stations.
What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…
* A relevant technical degree or HND in surveying or a related field, with experience in a similar role. Candidates with suitable skills will also be considered.
* Knowledge of fieldwork for below ground utility and drainage surveys using Electromagnetic and GPR techniques.
* Experience with PAS128 standards and GPR data post-processing is advantageous but not essential.
* Understanding of processing fieldwork data, including creating 2D & 3D CAD drawings and reports, is advantageous but not essential.
* Effective communication skills for public and team interactions. Ability to operate in all weather conditions, including at night. Understanding of project and commercial considerations.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* A full UK driving license, as travel across the country is required.
