What You'll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a multi-skilled anaesthetic team delivering safe, high-quality care across a range of surgical specialties, including:
* Orthopaedics & Trauma
* Head & Neck
* Obstetrics & Gynaecology
* General Surgery
* Urology
* Vascular
You’ll be:
* Responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of anaesthetic procedures for patients undergoing surgery
* Supporting the team to prepare a wide range of specialist equipment and drugs, including anaesthetic machines, intravenous equipment and devices that safely secure the patient’s airway during anesthesia
* Responsible for monitoring patients throughout the anaesthetic process
* Responding quickly to any changes or complications that may arise
What You’ll Need
Essential:
* HCPC or NMC Registration (RGN/ODP)
* Minimum of 6 months UK based Operating Theatre experience
* Right to work in the UK (No visa sponsorship is available for this role)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
* Immediate Life Support (ILS) / Paediatric ILS
* Mentoring or teaching qualification
