Overview
Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant – Leeds. Permanent role. Salary £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.
The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in geoenvironmental consulting/engineering geology, leading a team, reviewing and signing off on technical reports. This role demands strong technical and management capabilities along with excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a well-established consultancy in the Leeds area.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and lead the environmental teams, providing technical guidance and project delivery.
* Review and sign off on technical reports.
* Engage with stakeholders and ensure project requirements are met.
* Manage tendering, resourcing and finance of the team.

Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
* Chartered
* Extensive experience in geotechnical design, contaminated land assessments, and project management
* Strong understanding of relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices
* Live within a commutable distance of their Leeds office
