Metroline Manchester is a recently formed subsidiary of ComfortDelGro. In March 2024, we were awarded contracts to operate four franchises and join the Bee Network in Greater Manchester by the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Metroline was established in 1989, and is the fourth largest bus operator in London, operating about 17 percent of the city’s scheduled bus services. It has been part of the largest private land transport company, ComfortDelGro, since 2000. Across the UK, Metroline employs 6,000 colleagues and helps carry over one million customers daily. ComfortDelGro operates in 12 countries with a global fleet of over 40,000 vehicles and more than 22,000 colleagues.
Job Summary
Pay: £17 per hour (increased rate for weekends & BH)

Responsibilities
* Ensure your bus is kept clean and roadworthy
* Drive safely according to current road and traffic laws, executing challenging manoeuvres when necessary
* Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive attitude
* Maintain professionalism and ensure smooth, safe transportation for diverse passengers
* Collaborate with team and support functions to exceed performance targets
* Work with management to identify and address malfunctions or improvements

Hours of Work
Full-time permanent contract, 38 hours per week, with shift work including early starts, late finishes, and weekends.
