Head of Marketing Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 Bonus Shares Location: Sunderland (Hybrid) My client is a rapidly growing SaaS organisation offering a market leading solution designed to enhance training, build skills and ensure compliance for clients across the globe. The Head of Marketing role is a key appointment in achieving the company’s ambitious growth plans. While the position will initially focus on leading marketing strategy and driving strong interest in the company’s software solution, there is potential for it to evolve into a director-level role over time, depending on performance and the company’s scaling needs. The Role: * Devise and implement their end-to-end marketing strategy. * Develop and maintain a full marcomms plan. * Support lead generation through creating and executing an effective digital marketing strategy. * Managing the Marketing budget * Organically grow the team as the company evolves, providing leadership and aspiring future talent. * Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, whilst supporting the evolution of their website, social media channels and broader brand related collateral. * The marketing mix will span a range of channels including e-mail, PPC, organic and paid SEO, website, social, video, webinars and events. * Undertake research and produce content to improve SEO and website conversions monitoring and evaluating performance. * Co-ordinate a series of educational webinars and knowledge transfer events. * Monitor digital channel performances and produce reports and recommendations for areas of improvement. * Working as part of the broader senior management team on strategic decisions and future investment to achieve ambitious growth and organisational development objectives. The Candidate: * You should possess a stellar Marketing background in SaaS, technology, data or similar in an SME / fast-growth organisation. * Comfortable in a stand-alone mandate with the ability and aspirations to build and lead a team as the role grows. * Digital marketing expertise with a track record of executing successful lead generation programmes. * Ideally fluent in HubSpot, or with strong knowledge in other marketing automation tools, allied with a strong understanding of paid social channels including Facebook and LinkedIn. * Excellent communication skills and strong track record of creating compelling and effective integrated campaigns utilising the digital marketing mix. * Degree qualified in a related subject or holding a professional qualification in digital marketing.
