12-month role (Maternity Cover)
Salary;
£32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience
Roles and Responsibilities
The current role will give you exposure to a range of digital marketing channels, including: eCRM strategy, web, SEO and content (articles, gamification, etc.).
Skillset Required
· Strong written, verbal, organisational and communication skills
· Ability to multitask/prioritise and manage multiple projects at the same time (strong Account Management skills
· Strong email marketing skills (ideally 2 or 2+ years’ experience in email marketing)
· Knowledge/experience with email platforms
· Experience with Microsoft Teams
· A good eye for detail
· Creative and strategic thought processes
· Meet client deadlines; prioritise and manage expectations
· Provide proactive support to teammates and clients
· Punctual
· Basic web/CMS experience, if possible
Day-to-day details of the Job
· Email marketing – from briefing, content generation through to scheduling and analysis.
· Make strategic recommendations to improve emails based on market research/current trends/performance, and present these to clients
· External client liaison – via emails and video call (Microsoft Teams)
· Internal Studio liaison – working with creatives and freelancers to schedule resources and get the desired creative
· Proofreading of creative assets and copy documents, feeding back to Studio
· Write creative briefs, and brief the Studio both written / verbally (on phone or face to face)
· Use Synergist for Studio bookings and client quotes. Ensure times and estimates are input at the beginning of every project. Plan phases of each job.
· Creating links to docs for email
· Checking all email links and tracking
· Awareness of client budgets and cost trackers.
· Demonstrate awareness of project budget and know when to quote amendments. Keeping the client and line manager informed of this.
· Demonstrate ownership of projects, working confidently and independently. Be the ‘go-to’ person for your day-to-day contact.
· Report into line manager / your team with a list of priorities. Flag and/or delegate where Team Members' support is needed to ensure that we work as a team to meet the deadline.
· Collaborate with external teams (other agencies)
Weekly
· Every Monday: – the status of each job is updated on the Client WIPs (Work in Progress). As part of the status updates, you will also check the Cost Tracker and ensure that all new projects are listed. You will be responsible for circulating these documents to the relevant clients and backing up the most recent version of the Excel to Red C’s X Drive (Server).
· Every Monday: – the status of each email is updated on a Google Drive calendar.
· Join WIP calls with the client, and any other project calls where needed
Monthly
· Client Presentation Meetings. This will range from collating research and preparing results analysis to helping put together PowerPoint presentations with proactive ideas. Presenting ideas and following up on any opportunities for income.
· Results:- collate results, practice analysis and recommendation skills for emails / social / podcast marketing.
· Competitor Review:- to be done and sent to the client every month
Housekeeping
· Prompt arrival at meetings
· Each member of the team is responsible for ensuring that all of their work is saved in the relevant folder on the X Drive. This includes:
o client WIP sheets
o creative briefs
o client briefs
o email link documents
o results and analysis
o strategic presentations
o research
o data
o final creative (e.g. social assets, articles, mp4s, print-ready PDFs)
