We are seeking a proactive, highly organised, and professional Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Medical Director and Core team of the Medicine Board at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a vital role in the day-to-day functioning of a dynamic and fast-paced senior leadership team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care across our services.
As PA, you will provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Medical Director, Director of Operations and core team members of the Medicine Board. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities with discretion and professionalism. Regular on site presence is an essential requirement of the role, minimum 3 days per week.
About You
• Ideally you will have previous experience in a PA or executive assistant role, ideally within a healthcare or NHS setting, but this is not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently at senior levels.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Knowledge of NHS systems and procedures is desirable but not essential.
Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities:
• Proactively manage complex diaries and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
• Prepare agendas, minutes, and reports to a high standard.
• Manage communications on behalf of the Medical Director, ensuring timely responses and appropriate handling of confidential information.
• Act as a key liaison between the Medical Director’s office and internal/external stakeholders.
• Support project work and service improvement initiatives within the Medicine Board where required.
